Our Story

A Mother's Love.
A Family's Mission.

The Romarion Bridge Program was inspired by Melissa Freeney's journey as a foster parent and adoptive mother to LeeMarion and Robert. Her commitment to providing love, stability, and opportunity became the foundation of a mission to help young people build brighter futures.

The name “Romarion” combines Robert and LeeMarion, honoring the two children Melissa welcomed through foster care and later adopted into her family. Their story represents the heart and purpose behind everything we do.

Together with her sons, Jamie and Joshua Freeney, Melissa founded The Romarion Bridge Program to help young adults transitioning out of foster care achieve independence through housing, education, employment, life skills, and mentorship.

Because potential should never be limited by circumstance.

A Mother's Vision. A Family's Legacy.

The Romarion Bridge Program was founded by Melissa Freeney and her sons, Jamie and Joshua Freeney, through Freeney Legacy Group LLC. Together, they share a vision of building a supportive community where young adults are encouraged to recognize their potential, develop life skills, pursue their goals, and create successful futures.

Our family's experience showed us the power of support and opportunity. We created The Romarion Bridge Program to help other young adults write their next chapter.
